I shoot mainly documentary on the day, capturing events naturally as they happen to tell the story of your wedding day mixed in with a few suggestions of what might look cool, no cheesy BS though (barf). I want to create videos that will make you feel like you were there again even. A lot of the time you won’t know you’re even being filmed, where as other times I will be up close and personal getting perfect details shots or just dancing around and having fun with you and your guests with camera in hand (especially when the party is rocking).
Often described as “the extra bridesmaid” or “wedding planner", I’m there to help you achieve the full potential of your wedding and help you to have the most fun possible. A lot of videographers pride themselves on being really discreet, I’m not that person. I pride myself on being chatty and as friendly as possible but being discreet when appropriate obviously. I talk absolute rubbish sometimes when I’m behind the camera but it totally helps you guys loosen up and to just have fun together instead of just some guy standing in silence pointing a camera at you (it would get creepy really fast).

Highlights Video
All of the videos above are highlights videos. When you book Pura Vida Cornwall for videography, this is my main focus for the day. This is the video that will do the rounds on your social media and that you’ll watch a million times. I film without a time limit on the day to ensure that I make sure I have what I need to make you something awesome! The finished video is approx 3-4 minutes long. Because of the way that I film and edit, these videos are fast paced, full of energy and cover all of the highlights of your day. You get to see your whole wedding condensed into a small little package of awesomeness. This includes fully licensed music so that it can be shared online with your friends to show how awesome your wedding was without any problems of it being flagged by the music bots.

Full Day Edit
The video that tells the story of your whole day in more detail. This video is approx 9-12 minutes long. It’s full of the moments that you probably missed from your wedding (or forgot, depending how hard you partied). Perfect to be able to show friends and family who might not have been able to attend the wedding. If my cameras could recorded smell, I would say this video was as good as actually being there in person. This includes fully licensed music as well and is delivered a a separate video.

Teaser
A short video designed to do just that, tease you. Once all the work is completed, I create your teaser video and send it over to get you buzzing with excitement to see the rest. It’s up to 60 seconds ling and usually it’s made in contrast to your Highlights video i.e If your highlights video is absolutely MENTAL then your teaser might be a bit more chilled out. Heavy drum & bass highlights video - chilled indie teaser video etc. You get the idea. You can see examples on my INSTAGRAM
Extra Half Day Coverage
Perfect for destination weddings UK & abroad. Available the day before or day after your wedding. BBQ get together, casino black tie evening, hangover recovery pool party or an afternoon at the beach with the family for a game or rounders and to jump into the sea in your wedding dress. All acceptable excuses for this option. It includes 4-5h of filming. This will add an extra 3-4 minute section to your Full Day Edit video as well as potential for some more awesome footage to work with for your Highlight video.
Speeches
The speeches are delivered as a completely separate video and recorded using high quality audio equipment. I film the speeches in full regardless. You can always upgrade this option after the wedding.

Super 8
One roll of Super 8 film is included with every highlights video. It’s just the coolest!! It is the old school looking stuff that you can see scattered throughout my videos. It’s the closest possibly way to being able to record a feeling. I love my amazing digital cameras, but super 8 just feels different. Almost like your grandad was there filming with his ‘vintage’ camera. Filters and editing tricks 100% cant recreate this!

Add-Ons
Second Videographer
Filming both the bride and groom can sometimes be logistically impossible. A second videographer can make it possible to tell both sides of the story and cover alternate angles throughout the day. I don’t just use a random ‘student film maker’ for this. I always use experienced professionals who I know well and trust. I wouldn’t give this responsibility to just anyone! It’s also a good idea to book this if you’re having a MASSIVE wedding.
